Mission Support

Church on the Rock seeks to glorify God by fulfilling Acts 1:8, and being "witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” One way we strive to contribute to the spread of the gospel is by supporting missions and missionaries, both locally and abroad. Below are the missions/missionaries we support and links, when applicable, to their individual sites. We'd love you to join us in praying for these ministries.

Jerusalem and Judea (local to NC)

As a church we delight in coming alongside servants and ministries throughout North Carolina working to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We support Cam Clayton, serving with CRU, and Dawn Funderburk, UNC FCA, who work with college students in our state. We also support the Raleigh Dream Center, an organization doing dynamic work for the gospel in the city of Raleigh. Finally, we contribute to the work of the gospel being done at Camp Willow Run and Camp Willow Springs.

Samaria (in the US)

We also partner with Jahill Richards, who pastors a church in Missouri, and The Crete Collective who develop churches throughout the country in small, often overlooked communities. In addition to those church ministries, we support Grover Cooper who works with the Impact Movement on college campuses throughout the southeast.

Ends of the Earth (other nations)

We are grateful to partner with missionaries in North Africa, as well as Alex and Brittany Woods and Tim and Niai Byrd who are pursuing college ministry in Zambia.
