Children's Ministry

Church on the Rock firmly believes children are near to God’s heart and that He desires relationship with them (Matthew 19:14). At this time our children join their parents in family worship. Youth events are typically held the 4th Sunday of each month. Ultimately, we desire to prayerfully train up our children to know, love, and serve the Lord.

Gathering Groups

Gathering Groups meet on the 1st Sunday of each month. After worshipping together, partaking in communion together, we enjoy a concentrated fellowship time in small groups directly following the service. Gathering groups meet at someone's house or a local restaurant to fellowship and pray for one another.

Men's Ministry

The men’s ministry, led by Clyde Alston and Melvin Nowling, focuses on the common goal of studying and praying God’s Word to be useful to Him. They seek to lead their families and communities in ways that honor God and point others to the hope found in Christ.

Women's Ministry

The women’s ministry, led by Sarah Rochelle, Ruby Freeman, and Zinnada Hodges meets with the hope of encouraging the women of COTR to better understand the love Christ has for them and to glorify Him in all aspects of their lives.

Women's ministry meets every other month (odd months), on the second Saturday morning of the month. They are currently walking through the book of I Timothy.
